Ty Proctor notched up eight points for Wolves on Wednesday

Wolverhampton moved to the top of the Elite League table with a 54-39 defeat of Poole on Wednesday at Wimborne Road.

Captain Peter Karlsson got things going with a 5-1 victory in his opening heat, with Freddie Lindgren winning heat 13 to seal the victory.

Lindgren top-scored for the Wolves with 14 points, with Tai Woffinden (10) and Ty Proctor (eight) also scoring well.

This win was Wolves' second inside 48 hours over Poole after Monday's 58-34 victory at Monmore Green.

Wolverhampton are next in action when Eastbourne visit Wimborne Road on Monday.
