Rob Currie finished in the top 10 at Brands Hatch

Chris Hamelin was the star of the four Jersey racers competing in the first race meet of the British Motorcycle Racing Club 2009 season.

Hamelin finished fourth, second and third in his three races at the Brands Hatch circuit in Kent.

Luke De La Cour and Rob Currie also did well, finishing in the top 10.

Rookie Mickey Cipriano finished 27th in his first race and improved to 24th in the next but overran a corner and crashed in his last race.
