Alonso has been linked with a return to Renault |
Doubts over Fernando Alonso's McLaren future have left other drivers facing uncertainty, according to Giancarlo Fisichella's manager Enrico Zanarini. Double world champion Alonso has been linked with a return to Renault - a move that would almost certainly see Fisichella ousted at the French marque.
Zanarini told Gazzetta dello Sport: "It is very confusing at this moment.
"Everyone is waiting to see where Alonso will race in 2008. Until we know, we will just have to wait."
Alonso's manager Luis Garcia recently insisted that Alonso intended to stay at McLaren despite claims his relationship with the team had broken down.

But doubts over the Spaniard's future have remained, leaving Fisichella and other drivers unsure which team they will be racing for next season.
Alonso won two world crowns prior to his departure from Renault for McLaren.
As well as probably leaving Fisichella surplus to requirments, it has been suggested a return to his former team by Alonso would lead to Nick Heidfeld moving to McLaren from BMW Sauber, and that he could go to Ferrari as a replacement for Felipe Massa.
"We have already talked a lot with Renault, but everyone is waiting to see whether or not Alonso will leave McLaren," added Zanarini.
"We will have to see where free seats are available (if Alonso leaves)."
Fisichella's team-mate Heikki Kovalainen said last month he was not sure whether he had done enough to clinch a new contract for 2008.
