British Open champion Ashley McKenzie won his first judo World Cup title with victory over lightweight rival Hovhannes Davtyan in Warsaw. Victory over the Armenian was the sixth win of the competition for European Under-23 champion McKenzie. In 2010, the 21-year-old Londoner also added the English Senior Open title and won gold at the German European Cup. McKenzie was one of nine members of Britain's 2010 World Championships team below the age of the 23.
