The Benson and Hedges Masters invites 16 of the world's best players, plus two wild card entrants to fight it out for the 175,000 top prize.

Shaun Murphy and Jimmy White join this year's fray as the wild card invitations for the big event at Wembley.

World number 150 Murphy earned his place by winning the Benson and Hedges Championship in December.

White guaranteed his place with his performances in the first two ranking tournaments of the season, reaching the final of the British Open and the semi-final of the Grand Prix.

For the ever-popuar White, this will be his 20th appearance in the tournament which he won back in 1984 with a victory over Terry Griffiths.
