R2: Tigerwatch
Tiger Woods led by a stroke from Sergio Garcia after the first round
Hole-by-hole coverage as world number one Tiger Woods moves further ahead with a second round of 68 at the US Open at the Bethpage Black course.

18th hole: Most players would have settled for nine successive pars in such conditions, but Woods repeats his birdie on the 18th of yesterday with yet another 20ft putt. It completes a breathtaking round of 68, to put Woods five under par and in total control.

17th hole: Woods produces the shot of the day on the par-three 17th. His drive goes into the deadly slope of rough at the back of the green, but he chips down the hill to within three feet and makes par.
Four under

16th hole: Another par as Woods misses a 25ft putt for birdie, but with other players dropping back he will be pleased to make par all the way home.
Four under

15th hole: A brilliant recovery sees Woods stay at four under, which is looking an increasingly impressive score. After finding the bunker, Woods chips to 15ft and again holes out when he needs to for par.
Four under

14th hole: The familiar screams of "get in the hole" ring out around the 14th green, but Woods fails to deliver with another tricky downhill putt for birdie that drifts right.
Four under

13th hole: Woods is never happy to walk off a par-five hole with a par, but after a poor drive it is as much as he can expect at the 13th. A lightning fast birdie attempt slides to the right of the hole.
Four under

12th hole: Everybody is struggling in the torrential downpour and Woods has to produce a magical eight iron from the deep rough to find the green. Playing partner Darren Clarke holes a huge birdie putt, but Woods cannot follow suit and makes par.
Four under

11th hole: A welcome par for Woods, who stays two under for the day and two shots clear of the field, with conditions worsening by the minute.
Four under

10th hole: This time Woods does pay for a slack approach that sees him find another bunker. His chip quickly dies on the sodden green and he cannot hole out from 15ft.
Four under

9th hole: A poor iron into the greenside bunker sees Woods chip to 25ft and look certain to drop another stroke, but as so often he holes out for a par that seems more like a birdie.
Five under

8th hole: A chink of light for the rest of the field as Woods drops his first shot of the day after his drive on the par three misses the green.
Five under

7th hole: Woods cards another par to stay four clear.
Six under
