Padraig Harrington was back in the running for Masters glory after a third round of 68 lifted him up the leaderboard at Augusta. The Irishman, who just made the cut after two rounds of 74, was in fine form as he moved back to level par.
Harrington had five birdies - including an amazing chip from the trees to the left of the 10th green - and just one bogey in a much-improved round.
Playing partner Vijay Singh also fought back with a 69 to move to one over.
Singh, Masters champion in 2000, had an eagle at the second and four other birdies, but his card was spoilt by three bogies.
"It was a good day - I managed to make some things happen," said Harrington.
"First out in the third round is a perfect opportunity to score. There is not the same pressure as going out leading."
