 Ponte won the 2009 Guernsey Ladies title |
Guernsey teenager Aimee Ponte has retained the Royal Guernsey Golf Club Ladies Elliot Cup. The 14-year-old beat Island champion Jan Chamberlain by three and two in the final at L'Ancresse. The result is a reverse of June's Guernsey Women's Championship, where Chamberlain defeated Ponte on the first extra hole. Ponte won both the Guernsey Women's Championship and the Guernsey Junior Golf Open in 2009.
