Guernsey enjoyed a clean sweep in the Channel Island Golf Championship, beating Jersey 4-0. Danny Blondel beat Stephen Purdie 3&2 at Royal Guernsey, before Jan Chamberlain won on the final green, one up against Jenny Deeley. In the bronze section, Jean Mills retained the title she won 12 months ago, beating Hilary Nicholson 7&6. In the junior section, Guernsey's Sam Le Huray beat his Jersey counterpart Nick Wildman 2&1.
