Royal Guernsey Golf Club's Marlene Knights claimed her first-ever title on Tuesday by winning the Yorkshire Guernsey Cancer Relief Trophy. Knights, who has a handicap of 34, hit a dream round, going out in 22 and coming back in 19, giving her a total of 41 stableford points. Former island champion Jan Chamberlain won the best scratch prize with a gross of 74 points. During the day approximately £1,000 was raised for Cancer Relief.
