Rory McIlroy had a steady third round at Hazeltine on Saturday |
Rory McIlroy continued his impressive showing at the USPGA by firing a one-under-par 71 in Saturday's third round at Hazeltine. The Holywood player bogeyed the first hole but picked shots at 10, 14 and 15 before a bogey at the 16th left him one under and seven shots off the lead. Portrush's Graeme McDowell, who shared the lead during the second round, also shot a 71 to move up to level. Padraig Harrington had a 69 to leave him just two behind leader Tiger Woods. The defending champion was within one of Woods until the final hole where he bogeyed to drop back to six under.
