Sterne took the title at Leopard Creek by one stroke

Richard Sterne shot a final-round 69 to win the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa by one stroke.

England's Robert Rock carded a 70 to finish in a tie for second with Sweden's Johan Edfors in the European Tour event at Leopard Creek.

Scotland's Alan McLean fired a 66 to finish three off the pace, but overnight leaders Thomas Aiken and Len Mattiace both fell apart.

Aiken could only manage a 75 to finish third while Mattiace slumped to a 77.
