Wilson failed to make the cut at Royal Birkdale

Mansfield's Oliver Wilson says he has plenty of work to do on his swing in a bid to recapture his early season form.

The 27-year-old from Coxmoor Golf Club boasts four second-place finishes this season, but missed the cut at the Open, where he shot 11-over-par.

He told BBC Radio Nottingham: "The swing's just not where I want it to be at the moment. I've not hit it nicely for two or three weeks.

"It's not too far away. A few days off, then I'll work hard to get it right."
