Lincolnshire golfer Paul Streeter has said he is confident of reaching the latter stages of the European Open at the London Club in Kent. Streeter, who plays alongside Steve Webster and India's Jyoti Randhawa, missed the half-way cut at the PGA Championship and the Welsh Open. He told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "I've played here before so I know the course and I'm playing better than before. "I learned that I have to concentrate for the whole of the round." But Streeter admitted that the course could still catch out an unwary golfer. "The fairways are generous but if you go off line there's a lot of long grass, the greens are flat but quick so you have to try to keep it below the hole. "I'm not used to it so I've been on the putting green practising a lot." Streeter's first round is scheduled to tee off at 0730 BST on Thursday.
