Derbyshire golfer Melissa Reid is eyeing a career in the US after a stellar start to her first professional year on the Ladies European Tour.

The 20-year-old is currently seventh in the European Order of Merit after a second-placed finish at the Dutch Open.

She told BBC Radio Derby: "I definitely want to go to America. The standard out there is much higher than Europe.

"I'm going to Tour school in September. That's where my heart is and where I want to take myself."
