Wie endured a miserable time in 2007 |
Teenager Michelle Wie has revealed she will never regain full fitness because of the wrist problems that have blighted her game in recent years. At the start of her career, Wie, 19, made a big impact, even playing in men's events, but lately she has been hampered by injury and poor form.
"After a major injury last year it is never going to be the way it was before," she said.
"I just accepted the fact that it is never going to be 100% ever again."

Wie endured a miserable run of form and luck in 2007, injuring both wrists and only making three cuts.
In nine tournaments, she was forced to withdraw twice and only broke par twice in 19 rounds against women.
The American said it was pointless focusing on what went wrong last year and she now wants to look forward and would not rule out playing against men again in the future.
"I'll have to see how it goes," she added. "It depends how I play.
"I'm not going to say I'm not going to play. I'm going to have to see. I'm not really sure what's going to happen this year."
