Lee Westwood expects his fine recent form to continue when he tees off in the Dubai Desert Classic on Thursday. The Worksop star will be competing against a top-class line-up which includes Tiger Woods.
But Westwood, who secured a 10th top-10 finish in 11 events at the Qatar Masters last weekend thanks to a superb final round, is full of confidence.
"I don't think I've ever been playing as well going into an event," Order of Merit leader Westwood said.
"I don't think I've ever really had early season form like I've got at the moment so I am looking forward to it and am very positive."
Westwood's Worksop colleague Mark Foster is also in the field at Emirates along with Mansfield's Oliver Wilson.
