Creamer eases to Alabama triumph
Paula Creamer
Creamer took the first prize of $150,000
Paula Creamer shot a round of 68 to seal victory in the LPGA Tournament of Champions having led from the start.

The American's four-under par closing effort left her at 20-under - eight strokes better than Korean Birdie Kim.

A final-hole bogey prevented Creamer from matching the 72-hole mark in the event set in 2006 by Lorena Ochoa.

England's Karen Stupples continued her return to form following the birth of her son, Logan, in April with a closing 69 to finish in equal tenth place.

It was Creamer's fourth career LPGA victory and her first since this year's opener in February at Hawaii.

The 21-year-old, who led by six strokes going into the final day, did not have a a bogey after the ninth hole in the first round until the 72nd hole.

Kim also fired a 68 to take second on 276, two strokes ahead of Americans Natalie Gulbis and Pat Hurst and Sweden's Annika Sorenstam.
