 Montgomerie and Connolly will work together long term |
Colin Montgomerie has taken on Ryder Cup team-mate Paul Casey's former caddie Craig Connelly on a long-term basis and not just for the French Open. Last week Casey suggested he thought the pair were only on a break.
However, Montgomerie's agent Guy Kinnings said: "The intention is that it should be permanent. Certainly it is intended that it should be long-term."
Montgomerie and long-serving caddie Alastair McLean split before the US Open, where the Scot missed the cut.
