Jim Furyk made it three rounds without dropping a shot as he opened up a three-shot lead going into Sunday's last day of the Nedbank Challenge.
The American's four-under-par third round of 68 took him to 14 under, three ahead of Padraig Harrington, whose 65 was the week's lowest score.
Harrington reached the turn in 31 and picked up further shots at the 10th and 13th but Furyk was uncatchable.
Colin Montgomerie carded his best of the week but is still in last place.

Harrington needed just 22 putts in a round that included an incredible stretch of 13 one-putts in a row.
"It is just random at the end of the day," the 2006 European Order of Merit winner said.

"You stand there and hit good putt after good putt and they do not go in, and you stand there today and hit some good putts and they went in and I hit some bad putts and they went in. "Golf is a very strange game. The idea is just to be there when the good days come along and you make it count."
Harrington will be paired with defending champion Furyk, the world number two, in the final round and admits he has a tough task to overhaul the American.
"I think we will find a lot of tough pins out there tomorrow and, to be honest, it will suit a man that is leading and with a solid game like he has," he added.
"He can play to 15 to 20 feet on a lot of holes and put a lot of pressure on me to fire at pins that are going to be difficult to fire at."
