Previous Wentworth winners Ernie Els, Colin Montgomerie and Michael Campbell have confirmed they will play in the BMW Championship starting on 25 May. The tournament is the flagship event on the European Tour and has already attracted a top-class field.
Montgomerie will attempt to equal Nick Faldo's record of four strokeplay wins over the Wentworth course.
Els has won a record six World Match Play Championships at the famous Surrey estate, where he has a home.
US Open champion Campbell posted his first Wentworth success when he beat Paul McGinley 2 & 1 in last September's World Match Play final.

England's Luke Donald and Australian Adam Scott have already confirmed their participation, while Angel Cabrera will defend his title. The 25-year-old Scott is one of the rising stars of world golf and has won five times on the European circuit and three times in the USA.
World number 10 Donald won the Honda Classic title in Florida in March.
Changes to Wentworth's West Course, under the guidance of Els, have added an extra 236 yards.
"This has always been a great golf course, but times have changed," said Els.
"The West Course is nearly 80 years old and my brief, along with Chris Kennedy and the guys at Wentworth, was to ensure it remains a fitting challenge for the professional as well as the members and many amateur golfers.
"I think we've succeeded in what we set out to do."
Montgomerie, who won the PGA Championship three times in a row between 1998 and 2000 and added the World Match Play title in 1999, is looking forward to returning to one of his favourite courses.
"You always return to somewhere you won three years in a row with a good feeling and I have always felt very comfortable playing at Wentworth," said the Scot.
"Even with the changes, I don't think that will be any different this year. I will be trying very hard to get win number four."
