Cristie Kerr claimed a surprise win in the Canadian Women's Open after fellow American Angela Stanford bogeyed the last two holes to hand her the title.
Kerr fired a seven-under par 65 in her final round, including four birdies in a row, to finish on 12 under par.
But Stanford, who started the day with a four-stroke lead and began her back nine with seven pars, finished poorly.
Kerr, who began the final round eight strokes adrift, collected her second title of the season and eighth in all.
"Unbelievable," she said afterwards. "I feel like I played great but I still can't believe I won. It was just a magical day."
Stanford had only had three bogeys in the first three rounds but her last two holes cost her a first victory since 2003.
"I'm not sure how I'm going to react to this one," Stanford said. "It's probably a good thing I'm playing next week. It's probably good to keep going."
