Teenager Michelle Wie has disappointed those waiting for news of her decision to turn professional by insisting she has not reached any firm conclusions. The 15-year-old claimed the amateur title at the Women's British Open at Royal Birkdale and has been tipped as the future of female golf.
"I haven't decided yet," said Wie, who will return to school in late August.
"I don't know if I will decide or how I'm going to decide, (or) if I'm going to decide."
Wie admitted she had been unhappy with the standard of her putting over the four days, but said it would be one of her priorities in practice.

"I will be working a lot on my putting during the off-season so hopefully it will be better," she said. "I just couldn't read anything. I left so many putts out there and I feel a little disappointed by that."
Nevertheless, Wie was excited by her first experience of playing in the Women's British Open.
"It's been so awesome. It's been so great playing on a golf course with so much history."
Wie will not play again competitively until the Samsung World Championship in October, two days after her 16th birthday, and plans to take a long break to visit family before returning to Hawaii.
