McIlroy is second in Faldo Trophy

Rory McIlroy shot a final round 70 on Thursday

Holywood's Rory McIlroy finished second overall in the Faldo Series International Trophy in Hong Kong.

McIlroy shot a 70 in Thursday's final round to finish on 141, one shot behind the winner, England's John Parry.

The 16-year-old amateur did however win the Under-18 section and as a result will take part in the champions shootout with Nick Faldo on Friday.

McIlroy won the West of Ireland Championship and the Irish Close Championship last year.
