Holywood schoolboy Rory McIlroy has won the West of Ireland Amateur Golf Championship at Rosses Point. The 15-year-old defeated Mallow's David Finn 2&1 in Tuesday's final at the County Sligo Club.
In the morning semi-finals, McIlroy, who played for European in the Junior Ryder Cup last year, edged out Banbridge's Rory Leonard by 1 hole.
Finn defeated another Banbridge player Conor Doran 7&6 in the second morning semi-final.
