Event host Annika Sorenstam birdied the last hole to win the Scandinavian TPC by a shot from American Natalie Gulbis. The Swede finished at four-under 284. Compatriot Carin Koch shared third with France's Patricia Meunier-Lebouc and Gwladys Nocera at 288.
Sorenstam said: "It was a wonderful finish - it wasn't the world's best tee shot, but then I got the ball on the green and rolled in the putt."
Scot Catriona Matthew was the top Briton, tied for ninth on five-over.
She finished on five over after a 72 which included a back nine of 33 - the best of the day.
Gulbis, 22, looking for her first pro win, said: "I birdied three of the last five holes and I was hoping to have my first play-off."
Both she and Sorenstam were three-under going into the final hole.
But Gulbis, who birdied three straight holes from the 14th to move into contention, missed her birdie chance.
Sorenstam drove right into the trees on the final hole but she admitted: "I was lucky, I was able to take a full backswing.
"I had an eight-iron, a perfect club, the ball went through the trees and on to the green. It was one of those shots that I probably will never forget."
The win was Sorenstam's 75th career win and seventh of the year.
