British trio keep up good US form
British trio Brian Davis, Greg Owen and Phillip Price all moved up a place in the fourth round of the PGA Tour qualifying school in California.

Davis is now joint second, only a stroke behind American Jeff Brehaut, after a 69 took him onto 15 under par with two rounds still to go.

Owen's 69 lifted him to fourth on 13 under and despite a 72, Price improved from eighth to seventh.

However, Bristol's John Morgan dropped from 40th to 87th with a 76.

He now faces a tough task to be among the top 30 and ties who earn cards for next season.

Scot Alan McLean is alongside him, while Ireland's Richie Coughlan and Keith Nolan are 119th and 168th.

The other Englishmen in the field - Sean Whiffin, David Carter and Paul Curry - are 119th, 148th and 159th.
