World number one Vijay Singh has pulled out of the WGC-Amex Championship in Ireland after Hurricane Jeanne damaged his Florida home. He flew back to Ponte Vedra Beach after winning the 84 Lumber Classic to find water was coming into his property, and the house was without power.
Singh decided to spend time with his family rather than contest the Kilkenny event, which starts on Thursday.
His withdrawal leaves 44 of the top 50 ranked players in the field.
Masters champion Phil Mickelson had earlier pulled out of the Mount Juliet event for "personal reasons."
American Ryder Cup player Kenny Perry and Zimbabwe's Nick Price are among others to skip the tournament.
Tiger Woods will be going for his third successive win, and his fourth overall success, in the competition.
