England's Steve Webster shot a superb 67 to stretch his lead at the ANZ Championship with one round to play. Webster's seven birdies and two bogeys translated into 12 stableford points, putting him on 39 points overall, five ahead of Australian Nick O'Hern.
American Ricky Barnes set aside the threat of possible disqualification to card a 64 that put him on 30 points
And defending champion Paul Casey stayed in contention at Port Stephens, despite a disappointing round of 71.
Webster, 29, started strongly on Saturday.
"I gave myself a lot of chances early on I should have birdied. One, two, and I lipped out on five and six so I could have been seven or eight under after eight holes," he said.
"I've just got to keep doing what I'm doing really, stay focused and take one shot at a time."
