 Els will play in his ninth Volvo PGA Championship |
Vijay Singh and Ernie Els will both play at the prestigious Volvo PGA Championship on the European Tour at Wentworth in May. The in-form pair are second and third in the world behind Tiger Woods.
Singh had finished in the top 10 in his last 12 tournaments until he missed the Buick Invitational cut on Friday.
It will be Wentworth resident Els' ninth appearance at the PGA, where he has finished runner-up three times. The tournament runs from 27-30 May.
European number one Els, 34, is a Wentworth specialist and has won the World Match Play title over the West Course a record-equalling five times.
The 40-year-old Singh has a best finish of seventh, in 2001, from 10 appearances in the PGA at Wentworth.
