150 competitors will contest the anniversary traithlon

Jersey Triathlon Club are expecting a large amount of competitors for their 25th anniversary event.

The triathlon will be the culmination of the club's year of celebrations.

This year's race is set to start at 0730 BST on Sunday 29 August and will consist of a 1500m swim, a 40km swim and a 10km run.

The event begins with a triangular course swim in St Aubin's Bay and finishes with the run along part of the cycle track in St Helier.

Race registration takes place at Bel Royal St Aubin, near the slip, at 1600 BST on Saturday 28 August and will be followed by the race briefing at 1700 BST.
