Sunday's newspapers are divided over whether Terry Venables will quit Leeds.

The Mail on Sunday insists the former England boss will walk out if he feels the players' hearts are not into the club following the sale of Jonathan Woodgate.

And the newspaper warns that a string of players could leave the club unless the gratuitous sale of players stops.

The Sunday Express takes it a step further, insisting that Mark Viduka, Alan Smith, Harry Kewell and Paul Robinson are all on the verge of quitting.

They are all ready to leave unless Venables is given the money to bring in new faces.

The Sunday Mirror believes that Smith is the only player likely to make a swift exit out of Elland Road, unless the club can meet his increased wage demands.

Kewell, meanwhile, may not find he has a choice in the matter, with the Sunday People revealing he was on the verge of being sold.

The Australian international and goalkeeper Nigel Martyn were offered to Liverpool for 9m 48 hours before the sale of Woodgate.

Venables receives the full attention of the News of the World, which reveals the ex-England boss is still in "turmoil" over his future.

On their back page, he warns he is ready to give up after being treated like a "patsy".

While Leeds continue to find themselves emblazoned across the tabloids every which way, the Independent on Sunday is the only broadsheet to give the troubled club its full attention.

The defeat on Saturday to Everton has pushed Venables a step closer to quitting, the paper suggests.

The Sunday Telegraph, the Sunday Times and the Independent on Sunday all focus on Robert Pires and his late winner in the 2-1 defeat of Fulham.

And the Times also quotes Blackburn's Dwight Yorke, accusing former boss Sir Alex Ferguson of hounding him out of Old Trafford because of his then high-profile girlfriend Jordan.
