The back pages
Arsenal strikers Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp hog the back pages for different reasons after their team's Sunday win over West Ham.

THE HEADLINES
Sun:
'YOU OLD SLAPPER'
Mirror:
'DEN OF THIEVES'
Star:
'EL-BOW'
Mail:
'ROEDER RAGE'
Express:
'I WON'T STOP GAMBLING'
Independent:
'HENRY HAT-TRICK KEEPS ARSENAL IN COMMAND'
Times:
'ZIMBABWE PLAYING ON OUR CONSCIENCES'
Telegraph:
'HENRY PLAYS KINGPIN'

Dutchman Bergkamp makes the most waves after his raised-hands challenge against Hammer Lee Bowyer, which was not seen by the referee.

"El-bow" cries The Daily Star, while The Sun screams "You old slapper".

Both tabloids believe Bergkamp will face an anxious wait before he is placed in the video trial dock again.

The Daily Telegraph prefers to focus on Henry's "king-pin" striker's display for the Gunners, which was capped by an imperious hat-trick.

And The Mirror takes an interesting line, applauding the Frenchman's first-ever headed goal in the Premiership - after some 122 appearances.

Michael Owen's gambling habits also feature heavily in the Monday press, with The Daily Mail claiming that England's boy wonder is spiralling out of control.

The Daily Express says that Owen wants to stop his gambling, but other papers disagree, saying that the prolific striker will keep having the odd flutter.

The long-running Zimbabwe cricket debate is still prominent, meanwhile.

The Times believes that England captain Nasser Hussain is having his conscience severely tested by the forthcoming World Cup trip to the troubled African country.

And the wildest rumour of the day....
The Star says that Newcastle are set to snatch 5m-rated Brazilian Kleberson from under Leeds United's nose.
