| Sunday, 1 December, 2002, 01:50 GMT Kewell versus Viduka ![]() Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka may play together for Leeds United, but this does not means they are on the same side off the field according to the Sunday backpages. The Daily Star Sunday has revealed that Kewell has barely spoken to his Australian strike partner Viduka for two years. And the Leeds saga does not end there as the Sunday Mirror and the Mail on Sunday say David Batty is prepared to sue the club. Batty was ruled out of Premiership contention by chairman Peter Ridsdale at an AGM on Friday and the veteran player is now said to be talking to lawyers. In other football news, the News of the World claims that Inter Milan are ready to swoop for Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs in a 25m move. Respected Italian sports paper Corriere dello Sport quotes Giggs as saying he is ready for a "new experience in Europe". The Sunday Express links in-form Chelsea defender William Gallas with a 7.5m switch to Barcelona. And the Daily Star says the same Spanish club may land Leeds midfielder Lee Bowyer on a free transfer. The Sunday People, meanwhile, predicts that Man Utd bad boy Roy Keane is to make a shock comeback against Arsenal next week. Many of the papers turn a blind eye to the third Ashes Test in Perth, relegating England's latest collapse to the inside pages. But the Sunday Times and the Sunday Telegraph leave their readers in no doubt about the the visitors' hopes. "Over and out" and "Flat out" read their two full-page headlines. The Mail reports that under-fire chairman of England selectors David Graveney has been the target of abusive calls from fans enraged by the team's poor performances to date. | Top Sport Front Page stories now: Links to more Sport Front Page stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
