Your Game matches community groups working with 16-25 year-olds to funding, training and employment opportunities. It does this through community festivals and year round support. All Stars on the hallowed Wembley turf.
After already experiencing Swiss hospitality the Your Game All Stars recently scored a visit to the Carling Cup Final at Wembley. With exclusive behind-the-scenes access they were able to rub shoulders with some of football's finest including Jamie Redknapp, Alan Shearer and Mark Lawrenson as well as spotting stars like Didier Drogba and legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen. For Liam Willis of Hull and several others it was their first ever live football match as Wayne Rooney's late headed-goal sealed a 2-1 victory for United, "I've never been to a proper football match and to have my first match as a Cup Final at Wembley it doesn't come much better than that!" Belfast's Louise Irvine continued, "The highlight of my day was meeting Alan Shearer and Jamie Redknapp - it's just been amazing! To get behind the scenes at Wembley is just fantastic." The fun didn't stop there though as the next day featured a trip to the BBC's Television Centre in West London for a VIP tour of the world famous studios, including a look behind-the-scenes at Match of the Day, the BBC Newsroom and BBC Radio Five Live. The trip was designed to provide the All Stars with a closer look at the BBC during their 12 months of support offered by the Your Game team.
