The Your Game All-Stars arrive at Downing Street. Eight young people have been chosen to travel to Namibia to learn how sport is being used to address social issues.

The All-Stars were invited to the State Room at number 11 for a reception to meet the PM before their trip to the Next Step conference in Africa.

Chancellor Alistair Darling arrives to greet them. "This conference will be a fantastic opportunity to exchange views with people doing similar work right across the world," he said.

Former Sports Minister Richard Caborn spent the entire evening chatting with the young people.

"I can't wait to get out to Namibia and represent Liverpool, " said Zanyab Ahmed (left) who works hard in her beloved city to increase the participation of young Muslim girls in sport.

The moment the All-Stars were waiting for as Prime Minister Gordon Brown arrives with smiles all round.

Brown took plenty of stick for supporting Raith Rovers, a team some of the All-Stars had never heard of.

"He supports a Scottish team in the second divison; I told him I wasn't impressed," says Terence Wallen (left).

The All-Stars were selected for the contributions they made to Your Game and work in their local communities.

Brown receives his replica shirt while dreaming of being an All-Star, but isn't sure orange is his colour.

It was a great opportunity for the All-Stars to meet influential figures in politics and football including FA Director of Development Sir Trevor Brooking.

And the visit wouldn't be complete without a snap outside the most famous door in London.
