Photographer Daniel Richardson was on hand to document the Your Game Newcastle event in pictures. Here are his favourite images from the day. "Mr Silky Skillz performs a trick while encouraging the crowd to clap to the beats being played by the 1Xtra DJs." "Tools of the trade - one of the graffiti artists hard at work on the cube, turning what started out as a drab, mauve canvas into a vibrant, exciting piece." "Both graffiti artists tagged 'Your Game' as well as their own names. I was glad I photographed these pieces, a chance to save what is otherwise a very transient art form." "All the teams were from different walks of life. Your Game is about bringing a range of people from different backgrounds and cultures together and building a community spirit." "He shoots...he scores! This player powers a shot past the keeper into the net. There was a lot of skill and enthusiasm displayed throughout the day." "There was no shortage of action in the women's games either. The final ended in a penalty shoot-out, but the smiles showed the girls were having a great time." "A player reclines in the sun as a team member helps with his boots. The whole day was an example of what can be achieved when people work together - and not just on the pitch." "Thirsty work - two players share a bottle of water at full-time. With only two minutes between games this is only a quick refresher." "These two girls arrived at 3pm with crates of energy drinks, just in time to give the players a lift before the semis. By the looks of things they could've had a can each themselves!" "The manager of the winning men's team is 'crowned' in a big blue sombrero during the post-game celebrations. He was so ecstatic he could barely speak for the interview!" "Bring home the silver - the team captain of the winning men's team celebrates by wearing the trophy cap as a hat." "When all the games were over the true team colours of the participants' came out for display. The gentleman sporting the Sunderland strip is clearly proud to be a fan." "Voodoo Bag - this guy was part of the winning team's entourage. He attributed his team's success to a little bit of voodoo magic which he had hidden in his bag." "Trophy table - the winners' medals and trophies, along with the Fair Play footballs awarded to the teams who displayed the best attitude. Best of luck for the finals!"
