Nigeria's World Cup preparations have suffered a number of setbacks

Nigeria are again looking for a venue for their World Cup warm-up match against Colombia on 30 May.

The friendly had been scheduled to take place at West Ham's Upton Park ground but the London Premier League side pulled out on Monday.

Nigeria quickly moved the game to Luton Town's Kenilworth Road home.

But the Hatters have now announced that the game will not take place on their pitch, leaving the Super Eagles to continue their search for a venue.

A statement on the Luton website said that a carnival had already been planned for the same day in the town and policing both the carnival and a football match would be very difficult.

The Nigerian Football Federation has now approached nearby MK Dons for the use of their ground, but the club told BBC Sport that no agreement had been reached.

Nigeria's build-up to the World Cup has been disrupted by several problems - including the cancellation of other friendly matches and the abandonment of a planned training camp in London.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles began life under Lars Lagerback with a 0-0 draw against Saudi Arabia in an international friendly in Austria on Tuesday.

Swede Lagerback named a team of mostly fringe players, with only centre-back Joseph Yobo and midfielder Kalu Uche the likely first team starters in the line-up.
