Togo PM wades into money row
Togo's national side
Togo play South Korea in their opening game
Togo's Prime Minister Edem Kodjo will arrive in Germany on Friday to help resolve a pay dispute with their World Cup squad.

The statement from Togolese officials contradicts earlier comments that the dispute had already been resolved.

"We will find a solution. It is a question of negotiations," said Togolese Football Federation technical director Camelio Akoussah.

"Our prime minister will come tomorrow."

Togo's players had asked for $200,000 each to play in the finals plus an additional $38,000 each per win and $19,000 per draw.

The West Africans, who are making their debut at the finals, will play their opening Group G game South Korea in Frankfurt on 13 June.

Switzerland and France are their other group opponents.
