Togo play South Korea in their opening game |
Togo's Prime Minister Edem Kodjo will arrive in Germany on Friday to help resolve a pay dispute with their World Cup squad. The statement from Togolese officials contradicts earlier comments that the dispute had already been resolved.
"We will find a solution. It is a question of negotiations," said Togolese Football Federation technical director Camelio Akoussah.
"Our prime minister will come tomorrow."
Togo's players had asked for $200,000 each to play in the finals plus an additional $38,000 each per win and $19,000 per draw.
The West Africans, who are making their debut at the finals, will play their opening Group G game South Korea in Frankfurt on 13 June.
Switzerland and France are their other group opponents.
