Domenech refused to panic despite France's draw with South Korea

But he bemoaned the failure to give a goal when Patrick Vieira's header crossed the line, saying: "We got a second goal but it was not recognised."

The Juventus midfielder's effort was clawed away by keeper Lee Woon-jae, but the Korean's hand was clearly behind the line.

And Domenech said: "It's a pity that at this level we do not use all the technology that we could.

"If you appealed every time you feel a mistake has been made it would be a never-ending story, but video replays would definitely have helped clarify this situation.

"It was definitely the turning point."

However, the 54-year-old insisted he would not make wholesale changes to his side, despite a second disappointing result of the campaign.

France wasted a wealth of possession as Park Ji Sung was allowed to cancel out Thierry Henry's opener late on in Leipzig.

But Domenech said: "I was very satisfied with the performance of all our players.

"Two of course are out, with Zinedine Zidane and Eric Abidal suspended, but we have a squad of 23 and they will have to be replaced and we can only say that we are sorry."

Korea's hard-fought approach to the game impressed Domenech, who admitted his side were put out of their stride.

"They pushed and we were not able to retain the ball," he said.

"Perhaps we should have counter-attacked quicker and should have geared up and put more pressure on them, but it wasn't to be."

The draw means France have two points in Group G, two less than South Korea and only a point more than Switzerland, who face Togo on Monday.
