Graham Taylor's tactical analysis of England-T&T
England's tempo
If England have learned anything from their game against Paraguay it's that they must move the ball quicker.

As soon as anyone has a third touch on the ball, you slow a passing movement down.

Joe Cole is a very talented player but he has improved because he has learned how to play the game more simply.

He now knows when to get it, give it and then move on. That is what England need to do. They must keep the tempo high by moving the ball around quickly.
