 Rodriguez kick-started Argentina's rout with a fine opener |
Two-goal hero Maxi Rodriguez insisted Argentina must focus immediately on their next game, despite a six-goal rout of Serbia and Montenegro. Rodriguez's brace, along with goals from Esteban Cambiasso, Hernan Crespo, Carlos Tevez and Lionel Messi, capped the display of the World Cup so far.
But he warned: "It was an incredible performance. But we have to win our next game too and top the group."
Manager Jose Pekerman said: "I cannot remember when we last played as well."
He added: "We were on a roll after the first two goals and it is clear we have a great team."

Pekerman's side justified their pre-tournament billing as being one of the favourites with an unstoppable performance, taking their Group C record to two wins, eight goals.
Drawn in the so-called 'group of death', Argentina can complete a 100 per cent record with victory over Holland next week.
And, to cap Argentina's afternoon, teenage superstar Messi came through unscathed after making his return from a thigh injury.
"I am happy because we played well. I wanted to play some minutes and am pleased to have scored," said the 18-year-old.
Pekerman admitted: "It is a joy for us to see Lionel back as he is capable of doing special things."
Meanwhile Cambiasso, who capped a 24-pass move to score a stunning second, warned there was more to come from the side.
"This is a very good group," said the midfielder.
"But this team is solid. It couldn't have gone better but we're full of confidence and looking forward now."
