Plymouth Argyle Ladies closing in on league title

Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth Argyle Ladies have moved to within six points of the South West Women's Combination League title having beaten Chesham United 3-2.

Emily Mousley put Argyle ahead on 13 minutes, cancelled out by Anneka Nuttall on the stroke of half-time.

Argyle went ahead again with a Laura Gough goal before Shan Woodward equalised in the 80th minute.

Plymouth's winner came in the last minute, Leanne Griffiths firing home from 35-yards.

The Devon outfit need only six points from their five remaining games to secure the league title.
