Striker Sarah Wiltshire and goalkeeper Chloe Crook were the heroes as Watford beat Nottingham Forest on penalties in a fine fourth round FA Women's Cup tie.
Wiltshire hit a hat-trick and Crook made a vital penalty save to give the Hornets a 4-3 shoot-out victory following a 3-3 draw after extra time.
In the other delayed fourth round ties Sunderland beat Derby 4-2 on penalties after a goalless draw.
And West Ham United won 4-2 against Colchester United.
Nottingham Forest 3-3 Watford (aet - Watford won 4-3 on penalties)
Catherine Lawson gave Forest a 21st-minute lead but two Wiltshire goals, the first a 38th-minute penalty and the second just before the hour, edged the visitors in front.
Lawson doubled her personal tally three minutes before the end of normal time, then Gemma Connor-Iommi restored Forest's lead five minutes into extra time.
But Wiltshire completed her hat-trick with four minutes of the extra period remaining - and then Crook's penalty save from Suzanne Davies settled the shoot-out.
Derby County 0-0 Sunderland (aet - Sunderland won 4-2 on penalties)
Sunderland had the better of a hard fought contest, but a fine performance by Derby goalkeeper Jenny Simpson meant the Black Cats needed penalties to go through.
West Ham United 4-2 Colchester United
Two Nina Downham goals in the opening half-hour set West Ham up for a win that earned them a fifth round trip to non-league Enfield Town.
Emily Heaslip pulled a goal back three minutes into the second half, but Emma Thomas restored the Hammers' two-goal advantage just three minutes later.
Helen Bass hauled the battling U's back into the game again with a 55th-minute strike, but just after the hour Kayleigh Xidhas hit what proved to be the victory clincher.
Revised fifth round draw:
