Women's football games hit by weather

By Tony Leighton

Women's football

Freezing conditions around the country caused the postponement of the top women's football fixtures on Sunday.

Both of the scheduled Premier League games, at Leeds United and Reading, were called off.

Two Premier League Cup quarter-finals, Cardiff City's meeting with Barnet and West Ham's visit to Leicester City, also fell foul of the weather.

The other two quarter-finals scheduled to be played were already off due to County Cup commitments.
