Scotland midfielder Little scored twice for Arsenal
The Women's Premier League title race took another twist as Everton dropped their first points of the season.
Four days after destroying Arsenal's 100% record, Everton were held to a goalless draw at Leeds.
But showing no sign of a hangover from Sunday, Arsenal won 3-1 at Birmingham with Kim Little scoring twice.
Thursday's victory moved Arsenal eight points clear at the top of the table, though Everton have three games in hand over the London side.
Birmingham City 1-3 Arsenal
Scotland midfielder Kim Little shot Arsenal ahead in the 18th minute and doubled her tally with a similar 15-yard strike just before the half-hour.
The home side reduced the arrears through Becky Hall's 48th-minute shot following an excellent run and cross by Hall's strike partner Maz Gauntlett.
Forward Gauntlett went close to equalising after another fine run, but defender Ciara Grant wrapped up victory for the visitors with a 73rd-minute header.
Leeds Carnegie 0-0 Everton
Everton's best chances arrived in the first half of what in the end was an evenly-fought contest that might have gone either way.
Millwall Lionesses 1-1 Charlton Athletic
In the Southern Division's big promotion game, a draw kept leaders Millwall Lionesses a point ahead of second-place Charlton.
The Lionesses, who have three games in hand over Charlton, stretched their unbeaten run to nine matches thanks to an 18th-minute goal by Sarah Jones.
They have taken over top spot from long-time leaders Charlton, who levelled through Natalie Crinean's 43rd-minute goal but could not force the winner they needed.
