Douglas Royal made it two wins out of two in the Women's Floodlit Cup with a 5-1 win over Gymnasium.

Royal were leading 1-0 at half-time but struck three times within seven minutes of the break to clock up a 4-0 lead.

Donna Shimmin, Sarah Breen and Kym Hicklin hit the back of the net for Royal - Gymnasium's response came from Kim Carney.

In the only Sure Mobile Women's League game, Corinthians eased past Laxey 9-1 at Noble's Park

Winning 3-0 at half-time, Jade Burden, Sarah O'Reilly and Sarah Kerford found the net for the Whites with Carol Kane scoring her first goal for the Miners.
