FA Cup success for Lincoln Ladies

Women's football

Lincoln Ladies' impressive season continues as they eased their way into the fourth round of the FA Cup by beating Loughborough Students 2-0.

Two clever substitutions by manager Rod Wilson had an immediate impact as the Lady Imps started to dominate midfield in the second half.

"It was a bit of a scrappy game, but the main thing is that we progressed to the next round," said Wilson.

The goals came from Amanda Barr and a volley from Kerry Smith.

The next round will be played on 4 January.
