Truro City ladies beat Ipswich 4-2 to record their first victory of the season in the FA Premier League Southern Division.
The win sees them climb out of the relegation zone in the league which is one below the top flight in English women's football.
They now lie ninth in the 12 team division ahead of Cardiff City, Brighton and Crystal Palace.
Charlton Athletic lead the table with five wins from six games.
City's next match is at home to West Ham on Sunday, 12 October.
