Lady Imps continue scoring spree

Amanda Barr has scored six goals in two games for Lincoln Ladies

Lincoln Ladies took their tally to 16 goals in two games as they thrashed Curzon Ashton 9-0 in the Women's Premier League Northern Division.

England international Amanda Barr led the rout with four goals, while Jodie Michalska also scored a hat-trick.

Carla Ward and Sophie Barker were also on target as the Lady Imps moved to the top of the table on goal difference.

Manager Rod Wilson said: "The football we are playing at the minute is as good as I have known it."

After starting the season with two home games, the first being a 7-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Collingham, the Lady Imps have their first away match of the season on Thursday evening as they visit second-placed Leicester City.
